Minette Bay Lodge is surrounded by lush green lawns and set in verdant northern forest at the gateway to the Douglas Channel.

The sight of wheeling eagles , gently swaying spruce & cedars and the shimmering water of Minette Bay greet you as you throw open your sash window at dawn to let the early summer sun in. Perhaps you'll spot a deer or moose grazing at the water's edge or hear the haunting call of a loon from the bay.

Guests have access to the entire lodge with its cozy library and traditional sitting room with its deep chintz sofas and French windows onto the verandas overlooking the sea.
Antiques grace the rooms, and the warm traditional interior joinery has been hand crafted from BC fir - you may well wonder whether Minette Bay Lodge was built centuries ago.

All of the seven spacious twin or queen-bedded rooms have forest or bay views, and some overlook our enhanced salmon spawning stream, Pine Creek, named after the turn of the century pioneer, Jack Pyne.
Feather beds and down quilts ensure the most comfortable sleep for years and in the autumn, warmth is provided by our environmentally friendly heat pump and radiant infloor heating system. The warm, tiled bathroom floors are a wicked pleasure. |

Meals
You will never experience hunger at Minette Bay Lodge. Our hearty breakfasts set you up for the day's adventure with freshly baked muffins, whole grain toast, smoked salmon and our very own freshly laid eggs.
Delicious picnic lunches accompany all our adventurers, and while we provide alcoholic beverages for glacier heli-lunches and other trips, we respectfully request alcohol free bear viewing and our catch & release heli-flyfishing trips. |

Rosy-cheeked from a day in the northern sun and wind, your favourite tipple, and the hilarious conversations around the cheerful crackling library fire, you rise to the call for dinner. Aromas of eastern spices, garlic and herbs, have teased you since you returned from the day's adventure, and now you have the appetite for a stupendous Minette Bay Lodge dinner. The croquet players, and those down on the foreshore have come to the table, and the sound of popping corks and the sight of the spread before you whet your appetite. As always, the tables groan with choices and a memorable meal is enjoyed by all. |

Then back to the fireside for a nightcap with your fellow guests from around the world, or a quiet contemplation of the fading sunset from the verandahs before you succumb to the promise of your feather bed . Not even the hooting of the Bay's resident great grey owl will wake you tonight. |
